Regina, the capital of the province of Saskatchewan, is quite small by North American standards and can easily be explored in one day. A walk in the green parks around Wascana Lake is highly recommended; the Legislative Building, seat of the provincial parliament, is also located here. The University of the First Nations is an architectural highlight, and the Museum of the History of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is also not to be missed.
