Albuquerque is by far the largest city in the state of New Mexico. From Sandia Peak, around 3,200 meter high and easily accessible by cable car, one looks down on an endless sea of light brown houses in the plains.
The adobe-style old town around the historic Old Town Plaza is nice and quiet; little stores invite to shop and shiny chrome vintage cars to look at. Also take your time to visit old San Felipe de Neri Church.
