Along with Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein was probably the best-known representative of Pop Art; his works are often reminiscent of comics. He refined a special painting technique that uses uniform dots of color instead of flat painting; this grid painting eventually became his trademark, which can also be found in his sculptures.
