Anyone who goes to the Canadian Rocky Mountains loves nature; larger cities are usually nowhere to be found here. Instead, wild rivers, spectacular waterfalls, turquoise-blue mountain lakes, glaciers and snow-covered mountain peaks alternate in rapid rhythm. Most of the attractions are located in the six national parks Jasper, Banff, Yoho, Glacier, Revelstoke and Kootenay, which are usually only separated from each other by a mountain pass.
